Hi All,
I was not sure I had enough in me left to write tonight after watching a gut-wrenching, four hour 3 overtime Bulls game, but the "BABY BULLS" beat the mighty Celtics, and forced game 7, and I am totally amazed and and stunned, as are all of you who I know watched this instant classic!
I'll let you get all the rest from the media, but I really find the Bulls to be inspirational in their efforts, and will be using them as a role model for my own playoffs. Needless to say, I have never watched more NBA action than this postseason, and it has really helped pass the evenings by quickly. I watched the beginning of the game with Mike Weiner, and then heard at half time from my friend Brent in New Zealand. What a connected world we live in, huh?
Meanwhile, today was also good and uneventful. My Love Cook brought me a Potbelly's sandwich for lunch, what a treat! (Have I mentioned how much I like Hospital food?) Mylove 2 took great care of me as usual, and I got in the all important shower and shave today! I figure that is of greater benefit to my caregivers and Cook than me, but it really does feel good!
(Denise...yes I have had 2 male nurses, Mark and Bruce, and neither has shown much interest in me, but they are not all babes, for the record.)
Well, it is getting late, and I am emotionally drained, so goodnight to you all, and thanks as always for reading and responding! Love to all.
Mike

Unbulleivable! The games are made just to keep you entertained. Someone up there knows you deserve the diversion. Time for all of us to settle down, turn in and get ready for Saturday night. Go Bulls!
Hugs,
Lanabelle
Hi Mike,
Sounds like you are doing great! We were with you in spirit and exhausted from watching the game but how awesome!
This is one of my favorites:
"You become. It takes a long time. That's why it doesn't happen often to people who break easily or have sharp edges or who have to be carefully kept. Generally, by the time you are Real, most of your hair has been loved off and your eyes drop out and you get loose in the joints and very shabby. But these things don't matter at all, because once you are Real you can't be ugly, except to people who don't understand." The Velveteen Rabbit ---they could have written this about grandmas!
We hope time sails by,
love, mari and barry
Hey Mike,
I ASKED the Bulls to deliver...just for you, "my love". I even showed them a few moves. Glad they listened to me:) Look forward to seeing you tomorrow. Love, Cookie
Hi Mikey
What a great game!!!! We were screaming and biting our nails. Mike & Mike (don't worry, they are our second and third favorite Mikeys), kept talking about this being one of the most exciting playoff series. It would be historic if it were the finals. Can't believe the Bulls pulled it off. Now, rub that magic onto the Bears and Cubs. O.K. for Bruce I'll ask for the White Sox too!.
Love you,
Bonnie & Bruce
WOW!!
We stayed up way past our bedtime for the amazing Bulls! Proof positive to keep on pushing beacause miracles do happen.
Go Mike and go Bulls!!!
xxxooo Cathy & Randy

Mike,
My Cav's will be waiting to play your Bulls, assuming that the Bulls continue to advance (which I know they will) and the Cav's continue to advance (which I know they will too).
It sounds as though you too are advancing rather well too. I glad you are feeling well enough to stay up and watch the games.
Take care!
Don C.
Mikey, watched the end of the game just for you. Ralph and Rick and Gail and I all watched from the emergency room of H.P. Hospital (my Mom explain later) and we all talked about how happy you must have been. I now they did it for you. Can I stop watching now? love you B and R
Mike - didn't get to see any of the game as Paul and I were returning from Montreal. I did see the news conference of the two coaches and they were still quite jazzed! Your boys are playing for you.
By the way - how 'bout them Cubs!!! Go Cardinals Go!!
